Support Levin's Heart Surgery Journey
Donation protected
Isak and Leah Johnson welcomed beautiful twins Sadie and Levin last Wednesday morning.
Soon after, they found that little Levin had an issue with getting oxygen, and he was brought to multiple hospitals, ending up at the Children's Hospital in the twin cities. Levin was found to have an uncommon condition called D-TGA, which is the complete transposition of the great arteries, along with Ventricular Septal Defect.
"Levy" has graduated from feeding tubes, oxygen, and nutrition lines, and he will be having heart surgery to fix the issue. The surgery is a "one and done" procedure and there should be no more need for more surgery in the future.
Most of all, please let us pray for Levin and the doctors as they approach and perform surgery. That the Lord has His hand upon this whole process and the recovery as well. Keep in prayer also Isak, Leah, and the kids (Ridley, Keely, and newborn twin Sadie) as they have been thrown into this whirlwind of emotions, being away from home, and being unable to adjust to life the way they had wished.
Expenses add up, and this fund is to be put toward the travel, food, lost work wages, day to day expenses, and unknown medical costs that may be at hand. The family does not know how long they will be away and how long the process may be. Let's try to relieve some of the stress!
UPDATE:
Levin's surgery has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov 14 in the early morning and will go throughout the entire morning. If you could please all keep the family in your prayers during this long surgery!
