Hello beautiful people,

For those of you who don’t know me, My name is Leticia. Known to most as Letty. On January 22nd I went about my day as I usually do, getting everyone to school and on time to work. I had not been feeling well for awhile and my daughter took me to be seen at urgent care. I landed myself in the hospital with symptoms of a stroke. After being transferred to Chomp for therapy and extensive testing. They found that my recovery was coming along great with the aggressive treatment. Unfortunately, they couldn’t find why my tests were coming back negative. I was diagnosed with stenosis of the neck and FND. I was told I didn’t have a stroke, but that it was a TIA (mini stroke). Being that I’ve been in the medical field as a caregiver, I found myself on the other side of the fence; needing assistance for the things I was just doing for my own clients and family members. My husband became my caretaker. As much as I did not want to ask for help, I found that all these doctor appointments and therapy sessions have been catching up with all my regular bills. I have finally accepted that bouncing back comes with time. That I need to give myself grace. God has placed so many beautiful people in my life offering to help me. This is why I decided to put this together. I know that every time I’ve had the opportunity to serve my community, my family, friends and complete strangers, I did it with love. I can’t take those opportunities from people who simply want to help anyway they can. Even if it’s just by sending a prayer. The prayers are what have kept me going each day. They’re what have shown me how precious we all are. As much as I wish this was for a whole month at Disneyland. This go fund me is simply to help me pay my medical bills, and help us get through all the financial burdens that have come from this. Thank you for your time and above all things.
