Sadly, on Friday, October 3, 2025, while in the duties of his job, Anthony Santoro's life was forever changed by the cowardice act of one individual, who, without cause, shot Anthony in the face while Anthony executed his duties.

Anthony was rushed to the hospital where he received emergency surgery. The extensive damage to his right eye will require many more surgeries down the road. Even with the surgeries, there is no guarantee that the eye can be saved or that vision will be regained.

Nevertheless, his road to recovery is going to be a very long road and help is needed to get to the end of that road.
