Support Letšabisa's Journey to Georgetown

Hello!

I appreciate you taking the time to read my story. My name is Letšabisa Motsoene, and I am from the beautiful country of Lesotho. I am excited to share that I will be graduating from the African Leadership Academy this June 2024, and have been admitted to Georgetown University in Qatar to pursue a degree in International Economics!

Studying at a world-renowned institution like Georgetown University is a dream come true and an incredible opportunity for me. The chance to study in Qatar more specifically, a global hub for diplomacy and economic development, will only strengthen my understanding of the world in ways that will help me contribute meaningfully to my country one day.

Despite receiving a substantial scholarship that covers a significant portion of my tuition and fees, there are still several essential expenses I need to cover personally, including enrollment deposit, airfare, living expenses, and other necessities to support my education and stay in Qatar.

As the eldest of three girls, I have always aimed to set a strong example for my younger sisters. Our father, a single parent, has worked incredibly hard to support our family, and I am determined to alleviate some of the financial burdens that come with my educational journey.

This is where I kindly ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference in helping me achieve my academic and career goals.
