Hello friends and family! My name is Deshaunda Taylor; most of you will know me as Nani, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my mom, Leticia Newton. Recently, my mom was diagnosed with a large complex solid mass arising from the left adnexa, extending into her lower abdomen and pelvis. The mass measures up to 14 cm by 10 cm in axial dimension, with a vertical dimension of up to 15 cm, and is highly suspicious for primary left adnexal malignancy. This diagnosis has brought on a medical emergency that is causing significant financial hardship for our family.

Leticia is truly one of the most generous, kind-hearted, funny, loving, protective, and resilient people I know. She always puts everyone else’s needs before her own, and now it’s our turn to show up for her. She has an upcoming surgery on 12/9/2025 and faces a long road to recovery, which will prevent her from being able to work. She has exhausted her savings paying monthly bills while off work and no longer has PTO, SCK, or VAC time left. Now, she is responsible for her medical and day-to-day living expenses, emergency costs, future recovery support, and more, all while having no income coming in. Without financial support, it will be extremely difficult for my mom to fully focus on healing and getting back on her feet.
