Hi everyone, my name is Jasmine, and I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my amazing mom, Leticia. She recently underwent a major surgery to remove cancer cells from her ear canal and neck. The procedure lasted nearly 12 hours, and she spent 8 days recovering at Stanford Hospital.

While we’re so grateful that the surgery was successful, our journey is far from over. My mom will soon begin six weeks of radiation treatment to ensure that any remaining cancer cells are completely removed from her body. During this time, she will not be able to work and will need continuous care as she recovers.

As her daughter, I am her only source of support—both financially and physically. I help her tend to her wounds, shower, and change clothes each day. I’m currently looking for work, but with our current situation, we have no stable income and are struggling to cover basic needs like medical costs, gas for appointments, and everyday living expenses.

Mi nombre es Jasmine, y estoy pidiendo ayuda en nombre de mi increíble mamá Leticia. Recientemente se sometió a una cirugía mayor para remover células cancerosas de su canal auditivo y cuello. El procedimiento duró casi 12 horas, y ella pasó 8 días recuperándose en el hospital de Stanford.

Como su hija, soy su única fuente de apoyo — tanto económicamente como físicamente. La ayudo a atender sus heridas, bañarse y cambiarse de ropa cada día. Actualmente estoy buscando trabajo, pero en nuestra situación actual no tenemos ningún ingreso estable y estamos luchando para cubrir necesidades básicas como gastos médicos, transporte para sus citas y los gastos diarios del hogar.
