Support Leticia Lopez's Cancer Battle

Hello everyone, my name is Joshua Lopez, and I am sharing my mom's story. Leticia Lopez is my mom's name. She is a faithful Christian, a Woman of God, she is God fearing, tough, selfless, a wife, a mother and a grandmother. My mom was diagnosed with gastric cancer during the pandemic year 2020. In 2020, she received surgery; they removed a tumor and 70% of her stomach. After surgery, she had the strength to continue with chemotherapy and eventually finish all her chemotherapy sessions. After surgery, my mom went into remission and had a checkup every six months to do a biopsy to see if there were still cancerous cells remaining, no cells were found in 2022, but last year, in 2023, my mom's cancer returned.
During this past year my mom went to chemotherapy and radiation sessions for her gastric cancer. We had faith that her treatment would cure her but in early September 2024 the doctors realized that her treatment wasn't working. The doctors informed us that her body did not react to the chemotherapy and radiation sessions. This was devastating news. Our plan was to transfer her to Md Anderson, but she did not meet certain requirements that they have set. Sadly, our mother will be entering Hospice. These times are difficult, and they are something we were not ready to experience but it is happening. We want to help make her the most comfortable during this time, hospice will manage her pain and offer 24/7 support. We want to help pay off her past, current and future expenses, including funeral expenses and cemetery expenses. We understand that everyone has their own financial priorities in life but if you find it in your heart to donate anything we sincerely appreciate your help.
Those who know our mother know she has always helped others, she never said no to a friend in need.
No one wants to prepare for this but now as a family, we are. We want to be ready for when she finally meets her creator, her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read Leticia Lopez's story. Please share her story, if you cannot donate, we ask that you say a prayer for her, keep us as a family in your prayers. Have an excellent rest of your day.
