Lesly is my only sister, and right now she’s fighting to recover after a brutal attack at her apartment complex. She was assaulted by a group of teenagers while her young son watched, leaving her with severe injuries. Lesly is currently in surgery for two broken eye sockets, has stitches in her forehead from being struck with a bottle, and doctors are monitoring her for a possible skull fracture. The trauma of this event has been overwhelming for our family, especially after losing our younger sister in 2015. I can’t imagine losing Lesly too.
Lesly has always been the glue that held our family together. She’s strong, creative, and has a sense of humor that lifts everyone’s spirits, even in the darkest times. She’s the person everyone turns to for support, and now she needs help herself. The medical bills are already piling up, and she’ll be unable to work for some time as she heals. We’re raising funds to cover her hospital bills, lost income, and any ongoing care she may need if there are lasting effects from her injuries.
Every donation will help Lesly focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries. Our family is grateful for any support, and we hope to see Lesly back on her feet, bringing light and laughter to those around her again.
