Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted persons,

Our beloved Lesli is a 43-year-old wife, mother, and fighter who is currently battling Stage 4 breast cancer. She is the heart and soul of her family, a devoted wife to Chris and an incredible mother to two young children—Knox, 6, and Freya, 3.

In 2022, Lesli was diagnosed with Stage 1 cancer and underwent a bilateral mastectomy followed by chemotherapy. She was a true breast cancer warrior and survivor. Recently, her journey took an unexpected and challenging turn. She had celebrated the holidays with her family feeling wonderful. Just after Christmas, she contracted COVID and thought her symptoms were from an infection. By January, she began struggling with everyday tasks and ended up in the hospital, where she learned that beneath a pneumonia, the cancer had returned and metastasized. It was news no one should ever have to hear, especially at such a young age. After multiple hospitalizations and continuous testing, it was confirmed that the cancer had spread to several areas of her body. Now in a critical stage, Lesli is hospitalized and receiving aggressive chemotherapy. Throughout this difficult journey, our family has remained by her side, but the road ahead is incredibly tough.

As Lesli fights for her life, the financial strain on the family has become overwhelming. Between medical bills, traveling expenses, treatment costs, and the need for round-the-clock care, Chris is doing everything he can to balance being a caregiver for Lesli while taking care of their two young children. The stress of these challenges, along with the emotional toll, is immense.
