Leslie Spencer suffered a debilitating stroke because of arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) on Wednesday October 16th, 2024, while he was home with his three children. With the help of the paramedics, he was transported to the regional hospital, where it was deemed that he be airlifted to a hospital with more resources and be treated by highly trained neurologists.
According to the doctors, Spencer will undergo an advanced surgical procedure that will put an end to the arteriovenous malformations. However, the road to recovery will be a lengthy one. He is expected to spend at least six weeks in a specialized rehabilitation center and will not be able to return to work for the next 12 months.
Leslie is a beloved husband, father and a pillar of support for countless individuals in the community. His kindness, compassion and warmth has touched countless hearts.
Your generous contribution will help alleviate the financial burden on his family and will go towards all expenses for the next one year including medical, rehabilitation cost, and any other treatment required by the healthcare professionals.
