Support Leslie Sneed's Class Trip to Atlanta

Hey, my name is Leslie Sneed in case you don’t know me and I am an Exceptional Children’s teacher for Rutherford County Schools. I am in my 27th year of teaching and currently have 8 students in my class. We have been invited to travel with our 6th grade on a field trip to Atlanta. We will get to visit the aquarium, the Coca-Cola Museum as well as the Museum of Illusions in Atlanta. We will ride in charter buses and stop to a sit down meal in a restaurant on our way. Many of the these things my students have never experienced. Many have never traveled outside this county. Where we need your help is to help fund this awesome, but expensive trip. We all have been affected in one way or another by the economy and sometimes extra, fun stuff is what gets cut out and taken away from kids. I can promise you my kids will learn by seeing, hearing and being immersed in places and experiences they’ve never been before. Any amount will help us and offset the full cost of just one of my student’s fees. The total cost $250.00 per student and anything above our goal will be deposited into our classroom account for possible additional trips, parties, etc.
