Support Leslie Saula's Urgent Knee Surgery

We come to you today with an urgent and heartfelt request to support an extraordinary single mother, Leslie Saula. Many of you already know Leslie as the great mama she is to Elann and Kinalone, the great and supporting friend, and finally, the kind, selfless woman.

Recently, Leslie faced an unexpected and traumatic fall accident while climbing on February 24th. She was rushed to the ER for assessment and imaging to see the extent of the injury. Wednesday, March 12th, she learned that her knee will require complex surgery, due to multiple tears of several ligaments, meniscus as awell as stress fractures. Surgery along with different therapies are projected to be a recovery of about 6 to 9 months. $24,000 is needed upfront to schedule the necessary surgery and recovery procedure as soon as possible. Additionally, she will need more funds, up to $4000, due to the need for physical therapy and other treatments and medical incidentals.

Her injury has caused an inability to drive and the loss of work opportunity to provide for her children. Leslie is now at home, recovering with the care of her children and friends until she starts the actual process of full rehabilitation after surgery.

The outpouring of love and concern from those who know and cherish Leslie has been overwhelming. Elann and Kinalone cannot imagine a world without her as they depend intensely on her due to their special needs, and their passionate mom's vibrant spirit has enriched their lives and ours in countless ways. Now, it's our turn to rally together and support her and her children in her time of need.

As a single mother, Leslie is the sole provider for her children, and her children's livelihood depends on her ability to provide every day for her son's lifelong medical needs and care, and her two children's mental and physical health, schooling and activities. We want to ensure that she can focus solely on her recovery without the burden of financial worries. Your generous contribution will go directly to open the door for her to receive the necessary surgery and towards easing the financial strain of medical bills during this challenging time, allowing Leslie and her children to heal with the care and support she deserves.
