My name is Kathyria, and I am here asking for support of my sister, Leslie who is a hard working single mother. With just days before Christmas, Leslie’s car was totaled in an accident and has turned her world upside down. We are deeply grateful that there were no serious injuries but the emotional shock and the financial impact are already being felt and are overwhelming. Her car is her lifeline. It allowed her to get to work, bring her daughter to school and activities, run errands, and manage all the responsibilities that come with raising a child on her own. Losing it suddenly, and at this time of year, has created stress and uncertainty.
