Support Les Sr. transport his Dog Maggie to Wisconsin

Our family is raising funds to safely transport our father's dog, Maggie. She is currently living in Corpus Christi, TX, and we need to transport her to Chetek, WI. Our father, Les Sr., currently lives in Corpus Christi, TX, He is flying into the Minneapolis, Mn airport on May 11th to end up in Chetek Wisconsin. The only option for Maggie in Texas is to be rehomed. We are desperately trying to avoid that! Once we get Maggie to Wisconsin, she will be safe and have a permanent home with my father and brother, Les Jr., on his 10-acre hobby farm, and our family feels that's in the best interest for Maggie. If Les Sr. does decide to ever go back to Texas for the winter, for example, Maggie will stay with Les Jr. until he returns in the spring again. Our family also feels that Maggie, being a very large dog, will be better cared for by Les Jr. since our father needs a walker to get around. Our father, Les Sr., is 82 and on a fixed income. Our research finds the cost for safe transportation that doesn’t involve the stress of flying, are services for Maggie, a 6-year-old, 90 lb Black Lab mix, to be driven by a licensed service, runs around $1300 - $1500.

We also need this to happen on a time crunch, the flight is scheduled for May 11, which also makes funds difficult for him and our family.
