My name is Ernie, and I am the sister of Leroy Carriere. My husband and I reside in Port St. Lucie, Florida, approximately two hours away from Leroy, who lives in Miami. Despite facing my own medical challenges and currently recovering from surgery, we felt it was our responsibility to step in and care for my brother.

We’re reaching out today to ask for your support for someone very special—Leroy, a hard-working and kind-hearted man who has been a vital part of our logistics and delivery community in South Florida. For years, Leroy has been the dependable stacker who helped drivers load and unload shipments, ensuring that deliveries moved smoothly in and out of the region. He’s always been the guy you could count on, never hesitating to go the extra mile to get the job done.

Three weeks ago, Leroy suffered a heart attack that changed his life. While we're relieved and grateful that he's still with us and slowly recovering physically, the heart attack also took a toll on his mental and cognitive health. Leroy is currently dealing with memory issues and cognitive challenges that have made it difficult for him to return to work and manage everyday life.

He's getting a little better each day, but recovery is slow and uncertain. Right now, Leroy needs help covering his bills, medical expenses, and basic living costs as he focuses on healing. Like many who work physically demanding jobs, Leroy doesn’t have a financial safety net to fall back on. He’s always given so much to others—now we have a chance to give back to him.
