Support for Leonardo's Recovery

Last Thursday, Leonardo was hit by a truck while riding his scooter to work on Lamar Street. The driver made an illegal turn, ran over and dragged Leonardo, then fled the scene. Thankfully, bystanders helped until emergency services arrived. Leonardo suffered a fractured hip, can't walk, and may need surgery and physical therapy—all of which he must pay for out of pocket. He and his pregnant wife both work at Chef Angel, and he's now unable to provide for his family. The driver has not been found, leaving Leo with the full burden of medical costs.
