Hello, my name is Leo. I'm 32 years old and recently had a back injury that has taken me out work. I've been living with ankylosing spondylitis since I was 16, and this injury has unfortunately finally done me in.

Everything i did and loved to do involved my back. My job, all my hobbies have all left me. Its been wild to try and figure out what to do for the rest of my time.

I live with my awesome older brother who is autistic and my mother who is also disabled sadly struggling with fibromyalgia .

At the end of January, I had a fall and broke my T12 vertebrae. Due to my injury, I'm no longer able to work and have been having to go through a lot of different doctor's appointments, X-rays, and evaluations.

So I have whats called a three colum break. Its a very unstable break that went through my entire vertebrae.

Due to everything i have going on with my spine, they wont do surgery.So with that im at a very high risk of paralysis if something were to happen again. I got told I can't do anything anymore

And with the stress of all this going on, medical bills climbing sky high, my medical debt isn't my concern, sadly it's our rent.

I was our main source of income and since my injury, saying we've been struggling is an understatement. I cant work anymore at all. So untill everything goes through hopefully with disability we have been worrying every day how we're are going to make it.

Im not really expect anything much , but hopefully, this gets to someone that is willing to help.

Even if we were to have just half of a month's rent covered that would help us so much.
