I'm Denise, here attempting to raise funds to support my father's (Leopoldo G) hospice care and ultimate funeral. Like us all, he tried his best in this life and as a support system, we are trying to make sure we have him cared for during his final moments of his human experience.He is cared for by his children, grandchildren, siblings , nieces , nephews, cousins and very close friends and family .

My father was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and due to the horrible side effects of chemo, non-curable treatment, his age (85), and his limited strength, he decided to live out the rest of his life with palliative care and without chemo. Doctors say we have roughly 4 months left with him, but we're hoping for more.

The family, social workers, and agencies have searched, and we cannot find a hospice facility with placement that takes his insurance, so we hope to raise funds to pay for private boarding so he can get the skilled care he needs during this sensitive time.

After hospice, the remaining funds will support his final funeral expenses. Buried near his parents in LBC.
