Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am fundraising for my dear friend Leonor.
Leonor is one of those rare people with an open heart, a generous spirit, and a gift for holding space for others.
As a coach, yoga teacher, and deeply compassionate soul, she has spent years supporting people through emotional and spiritual challenges, always showing up with kindness, wisdom, and presence. She’s helped so many—now it's our turn to help her.
Since December, Leonor’s health has rapidly declined following what she believes was a nerve injury that has triggered extreme inflammation and debilitating symptoms.
What began as a mild strain has progressed into a deeply painful and life-altering experience, leaving her unable to work, move freely, or even speak comfortably.
Despite seeking help from multiple doctors and clinics (both in Bali and now the UK), she’s still without a clear diagnosis. She’s been misdiagnosed several times—most recently with gastritis—leading to treatments that likely worsened her condition. Her symptoms include:
- Intense burning heat in her chest, throat, and face
- Difficulty breathing, speaking, and swallowing
- Severe nerve pain, numbness, and tingling
- Sleepless nights and memory loss
- Emotional exhaustion and physical debilitation
She believes, based on months of research and lived experience, that she may have damaged her vagus nerve, which connects many vital functions in the body.
Unfortunately, the NHS system has so far failed to provide the neurological investigations she needs, and she may now need to go private for an MR Neurography scan, as well as pursue treatments like acupuncture, nerve pain medication, and healing therapies that aren’t covered by the public system.
Right now, Leonor is in bed, being cared for by friends in the UK. She is incredibly strong, but she urgently needs financial support for:
- Daily living costs (as she cannot work)
- Medication and supplements
- Private specialist appointments
- Potential MR Neurography scan (which may cost £1,000–£2,500 privately)
- Holistic healing therapies once she’s stable
I’ve watched Leonor face this with so much courage and faith. This is a woman who has overcome so much in her life already—she is no stranger to pain or transformation. I have no doubt she will rise from this too, but she needs our help to do so.
If you can contribute anything, even the smallest amount, it will go directly toward her healing and recovery. If you're not in a place to donate, your prayers, visualizations, and good energy are also so deeply welcome.
Please take a moment to picture Leonor strong, healthy, vibrant, and radiant again—because she will be.
Let’s rally around this incredible woman and help carry her through to the other side of this.
With deep gratitude,
Lisa
