Our family is coming together to support our beloved aunt, Leonor, who was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer in early November. The cancer has spread to her brain and bones, and she is currently undergoing targeted therapy in hopes of slowing the cancer and gaining more time with the people she loves. This diagnosis has changed her day-to-day life in ways we never imagined. She can no longer drive, and now needs help with dressing, mobility, and everyday tasks she once did independently. Along with the physical and emotional challenges, the cost of treatment and care will add significant financial stress. We’re raising funds to help cover medical expenses not fully covered by insurance, travel to appointments, in-home care, and other daily needs that come with serious illness. Leonor has always been someone who shows up for her family with kindness, love, and strength.
