Hello,

My name is Leonid, I'm 38 years old. I am alone, without family. I'm originally from Ukraine and recently moved to the United States hoping to start a new life. Instead, I was faced with a serious illness.

In September 2025, after medical examinations, I was diagnosed with rectal cancer. This completely changed my life. I went through chemotherapy and tried to keep working whenever I had the strength.

On March 31, 2026, I underwent a major surgery. I am now recovering at home and unable to work. I will need another surgery in about a month, followed by a long recovery period.

At this moment, I have no income, but my expenses continue every day. I am facing this situation completely on my own, and it is very difficult to manage:

- rent

- car payments

- insurance

- food and basic living expenses

I am asking for help because right now it is the only way for me to stay afloat and focus on my treatment. Any amount of support makes a real difference and helps me get through this difficult time and recover.
