Support Leona's Surgery and Battle with Cancer

In October, sweet Leona violently broke her leg on a morning walk. Nina was faced with the difficult decision of having Leona's leg amputated, and it was revealed that Leona has osteosarcoma, an aggressive terminal bone cancer.

Leona is Nina's first fur baby. She came into her life 13 years ago as a rescue puppy. Nina has cared for her along with her other rescue animals, and has given them the very best life they deserve.
