Leonard has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has been chosen as a candidate for a stem cell transplant. This means he will need to travel to Colorado for additional chemotherapy, radiation, and a lengthy recovery period. The journey ahead will be challenging, both emotionally and financially, as he will be far from home for several months. Life does not stop when you get cancer, and neither unfortunately do the bills.
