My brother, Leonard, is facing the fight of his life.
Over the past year, Leonard has been battling an illness that has involved a few hospitalizations, countless doctors' appointments, and numerous tests. This has all led to him being approved for a double lung transplant, a necessary and life‑saving procedure.
As you can imagine, this journey comes with overwhelming emotional, physical, and financial challenges. In addition to medical expenses, he will spend extended time away from home. He will need to relocate for approximately three months to be near the hospital during surgery, recovery, and rehabilitation.
Funds raised will help cover:
- Temporary housing near the transplant hospital for approximately 3 months
- Daily living costs during the extended stay
- Unexpected medical and recovery-related expenses
Right now, our focus needs to be on Leonard’s health, healing, and survival — not the financial burden that comes with it. Any contribution will help ease that burden and ensure Leonard gets the care, support, and stability he needs during this critical time.
