Hi, I’m Leo O'Reilly with SNAP of Michigan. I've gotten myself into a horrible situation and need your help. I think I was hit by a car. This nice lady with SNAP picked me up at O'Reilly's Auto Parts where I was found. The vet said I have femoral head damaged on my left rear leg. FHO surgery is required. The right rear leg is a total hot mess with a complete break. Wait until you see my xrays, Whoa! Since I'm young, growing and not knowing how long I've been in this condition the surgery needed to be done immediately. The first surgery is being done today, 3-26-26. The orthopedic surgeon is attempting to set the broken bone on the right leg. Then Monday 3-30-26. I have the FHO surgery. That is where the surgeon has to cut off the damaged femoral head and reinsert the bone into the hip socket. Oh yeah and something called a neuter? Sounds rough but I know I will be as good as new in 6-8 weeks according to the surgeon. Please help if you're able, we all really, really appreciate you. It's a tax deduction!
