Our dear friend and coworker, Leo Hernandez, is one of the hardest working, most loyal, and kind-hearted people you will ever meet. A devoted father, loving husband to Cynthia, and a dedicated employee, Leo leads by example both at home and in the oilfield. His family is a true Christian household, standing strong together through life’s toughest challenges.

Unfortunately, Leo and Cynthia are facing one of the most difficult battles of their lives. This is their third encounter with cancer.

Cynthia’s journey began with ovarian cancer, which had a significant impact on her body. Once a healthy, slim woman weighing 115–120 lbs, she dropped to just 90 lbs. Against all odds, she beat the cancer—but in the process, she developed lupus.

The second diagnosis was breast cancer. Through surgery and a few treatments, she overcame it, but now struggles with serious thyroid complications.

Today, the family is confronting the heartbreaking reality that the cancer has returned—affecting both Cynthia’s breast and thyroid. This situation has left the Hernandez family facing enormous medical bills, travel expenses, and day-to-day financial strain while caring for their four children.

Leo has always been the type to help others in need. Now, it’s our turn to support him and his family. The oilfield community is known for looking out for each other, and with your help, we hope to raise $50,000 to ease the financial burden on this incredible family.
