Leo needs support as a self-published author who experienced chronic homelessness in Washington, DC, for decades and got himself out of homelessness by selling his books on the street and online. His mission is to raise awareness about homelessness and foster empathy for those experiencing homelessness by sharing his own story, primarily through his books titled "Homeless Lives Matter" and "Overcoming Homelessness". Leo also uses his books to earn a living. Currently, Leo is experiencing health issues and can no longer sell his books outside as often as he used to. Although his books are his primary source of income, Leo has also given away 500 copies of his books for free and plans to distribute more copies for free.
