Fighting Cancer and Fighting for Justice: Help Lenny Remigio Beat HVP Carcinoma
My name is Lenny Remigio, and I am reaching out from a place I never expected to be: fighting cancer after enduring medical negligence. I am a man who loves renovations, athletics, and staying active, but this battle has temporarily put my life on hold.
The Fight Starts Now
In June 2025, I was diagnosed with HVP Right Tonsil Carcinoma. But the fight began much earlier.
* 14 months ago, while incarcerated, I discovered a lump on my right neck. For eight long months, my pleas for medical help were overlooked, neglected, and dismissed as "not an emergency."
* My family fought tirelessly on the outside, finally forcing the system to act.
* My Oncologists confirmed that the early signs of this disease were present back in September 2024. This is a fight I should not have started under these circumstances, and now I must focus everything on survival.
Why I Need Your Help
My priority is beating this cancer and reclaiming my health, but the financial burden is staggering, especially after my release. The requested goal of $150,000 will be used to cover the critical needs for my treatment and recovery:
* Immediate Medical Expenses: Chemotherapy and radiation co-pays, specialized care, and outstanding medical bills.
* Life Support: Lost wages, travel, and lodging necessary to access the best treatment.
* Legal Action & Advocacy: Crucially, a portion of these funds will go toward legal fees to address the negligence I endured.
My Greater Purpose: Fighting for Others
My faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus and the loving support of my family have given me a strength that is a true blessing. I know that I am one of the lucky ones with a strong support system.
Once I am through this fight, I am looking forward to fighting for others who aren't so fortunate. I intend to use my experience and strength to help curb the negligence of medical practices within the system, ensuring that others fighting similar battles receive the timely care they deserve.
Thank You and God Bless
Every dollar, every share, and every prayer brings me closer to recovery and closer to starting the work of systemic change.
To everyone who donates, shares my story, or offers support—I give you my utmost sincere gratitude and thankfulness. With your help, we are not just funding one man's fight against cancer; we are fueling a movement for justice and proper care for those who need it most.
Thank you, and God bless.
Lenny
