Support Lennox's Fight Against Brain Tumor

This past Wednesday, Jesse and I found out that our 5 year old son, Lennox, has a brain tumor. He is currently at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital where he will remain for treatment for the foreseeable future.

Today, Lennox is having brain surgery as the first step in his road to recovery. Lennox has the best pediatric neurosurgeon in the country operating on him and most importantly has the hands of the greatest doctor, the Lord Jesus Christ.

This has been an extremely difficult time for our family. We appreciate everyone who has been there for us and for all the positive support in the journey ahead. Keep our family in your thoughts.

This has been a struggle for our family, not only emotionally, but financially, as neither of us are able to work as we stay at our son’s bedside. Meals and parking fees accrue quickly here and our every day bills do not pause while we navigate this trying situation. Additionally, I found out today I do not qualify for the leave bank from my employer as it is only available for situations pertaining to the employee, not the employee’s child.

Which leads us here, to ask for the kindness of donations from family, friends, and strangers, while we focus on our son. Lennox is such a sweet, loving, kind and intelligent boy. It breaks our hearts to have to be on this journey.

We are so appreciative of any donation, large or small, and every prayer and word of kindness we receive as we go through this as a family.
