Support Lennon's Battle Against Cancer

Hello, this is Yoko, and Lennon. Lennon, Abyssinian cat, and I have shared 13 wonderful years together, but in the last three days, our world has been turned upside down. Lennon suddenly stopped eating, became incredibly weak, and couldn’t even stand up. After rushing him to the ER, he was diagnosed with high-grade lymphoma, an aggressive form of blood cancer. I am heartbroken, grappling with the regret of not noticing the signs sooner. As many cat owners know, our feline friends are masters at hiding their pain, and Lennon was no exception. He had seemed perfectly healthy until this sudden turn.
As some of you know, Lennon is so very special to me. He's my family, best friend, and he is part of me. Abyssinians can live up to 17, 18, or even 20 years, and I thought I had more time with Lennon. The thought of losing him was overwhelming, and when the ER doctor suggested putting him down if his suffering worsened, I broke down. After hospitalization, his critical condition was managed. However, without immediate treatment, his prognosis is less than a month.
Desperate to give Lennon a fighting chance, I found an oncologist and I was explained that lymphoma often responds well to chemotherapy. We decided to pursue a treatment protocol known as CHOP, which has shown promising results in extending the lives of cats with this condition.
While there is hope, the road ahead is costly. The initial ER visit and diagnosis have already amounted to $3,700, and the CHOP chemotherapy, along with necessary hospitalization, is projected to cost around $12,000, amounting to $15,700.
I put the goal $12,000, but I am really not trying to fund $12,000. Lennon is my cat and I am fully responsible for this. I set this up more to get emotional support during this challenging time, knowing we are not all alone in this. If you can offer any support, it would mean the world to us. No amount is too small.
Thank you for considering helping us in this critical moment.
