Lenay has been a dedicated and loving preschool teacher at Great Beginnings Child Development Center for 33 years, caring for the community's children from infancy through age five. Recently, Lenay was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She has just begun her first round of chemotherapy, with four doses scheduled over the next eight weeks, followed by surgery and then another four doses of chemotherapy. This intensive treatment plan means Lenay will be unable to work or care for her family for the next six to eight months. The financial strain of being out of work, combined with mounting medical bills and everyday household expenses, has created a significant burden for Lenay and her loved ones.
