Most of you know me as Lena Arauz, but my kids know me as Mommy, the one who always makes it happen for them. A year ago, I was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. I underwent surgery and treatments to stop recurrence. On Nov 14, 2025, that nightmare of recurrence happened, and I had to have another surgery to remove and biopsy the spread. My road to recovery has been by far the worst kind of pain I have ever had in my life, but guess what? Being a single mommy doesn’t stop just because I have a life-threatening disease. I’m asking anyone for small donations towards my bills and financial burden , Medicine and medical images have some out-of-pocket costs and copays that must be paid for me to continue my journey to fight this ugly battle.
