Hi my name is Lena M Young. and I’m reaching out to you because I need your help during one of the most difficult times in my life. In July 2024. I discovered a lump on my right breast. By October, I was diagnosed with Stage 2/3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer-a fast- moving and aggressive form of breast cancer.Hearing those words was devastating. but telling my family was even harder. Life has thrown me into a whirlwind of chemotherapy, surgery. and radiation. With a recent job transition, I’m not eligible for FMLA and will be unable to work until October 2025. Losing my income has made an already tough journey even harder. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for myself and my family, but I can’t do it alone.
