Thank you for taking the time to read my post. My name is Leilani and I'm a 9th grader in High School. I have straight As and am working hard to graduate with honors.

I currently have the extraordinary opportunity to go on a school trip to Japan. I know this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I would love to go on this trip.

Japan has always been a country that I've desired to visit. I began two years ago teaching myself Japanese through YouTube and Duolingo. I am not fluent, but I have learned the basics.

The career path I'm striving for is a veterinarian. I LOVE animals! I have four dogs, and they are my world. For the summer, I plan to find a part-time job like walking dogs, or pet sitting. I want to find any opportunity to earn money and make this trip possible.

I'm reaching out to the GoFundMe community and asking for any contributions, no matter how big or small, anything would help to make this trip possible.

I'm a dedicated student with big dreams that I want to accomplish. Traveling to Japan is one of them and I know that with your help, I can make this dream a reality.
