As most of you know, my 18 year old sister Leilani has been diagnosed with a VERY rare brain tumor called Pineoblastoma. This tumor is grade 4 and cancerous. It has also spread to her spine. Leilani has several expensive treatments coming up. Some of which are not covered by insurance. She will also require radiation 5 days a week at Mayo Clinic which is quite a distance from where Mariah and I live. We are asking for help! Leilani desires to be a mother, therefore will require fertility preservation which is at minimum 5k out of pocket. Along with chemo, radiation, and potential surgeries in the future. My sister and I are also needing to take time off of work to ensure we get Leilani where she needs to be for her appointments and procedures. Leilani has been through so much during her short life on earth thus far. With the passing of our mother, spinal surgery at 13, and now this. She deserves so much more.
