A Call to Support Our Brother and Community Leader, Leighton Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our dear friend, community partner, and brother in the work—Leighton Johnson, founder of I Am The Voice of Legacy, has suffered a heartbreaking loss. Leighton, a tireless advocate for justice and youth empowerment in New Haven, Connecticut—alongside his newlywed wife and children—lost his home in a tragic house fire.

Leighton has poured into the lives of countless young people, stood on the front lines to end solitary confinement and strip searches in Connecticut, and continuously uplifted our communities through action, love, and leadership.

Now, it’s our turn to pour back into him.
