On July 07th, the world lost a beautiful soul, Courtney Twance, who passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind two young daughters, Leighton and Oaklyn- who were her entire world.

Courtney was more than a proud cheer mom — she was a constant source of love, strength, and support. She was deeply involved in every part of her daughters’ lives, and her devotion to them was evident to anyone who knew her. Her girls were her pride and joy, and the bond they shared was unbreakable.

A strong woman in every sense, Courtney faced life with courage and grace, and she passed that same strength on to her daughters. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit lives on in Leighton and Oaklyn.

In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, the girls will be cared for by their father, Matt Peterson, Courtneys beloved partner of 16 years. He is now not only grieving the loss of his partner but also stepping fully into the role of both parents — emotionally, practically, and financially. He will be taking time off work to help his daughters navigate their grief and provide the comfort, stability, and care they need during this difficult time.
