In October 2024, I made the difficult decision to voluntarily leave the United States, as I was under an order of removal. If I hadn’t complied, I could have faced imprisonment for remaining in the country unlawfully. On the advice of my attorneys, I began the long and complex process of requesting forgiveness from the U.S. government.

After months of paperwork, interviews, and legal steps, I am now just a few steps away from being granted a visa that would allow me to return legally. However, I’ve exhausted my savings and now face a critical financial hurdle: a required payment of $2,300 to finalize my visa application—an amount confirmed by my legal team.
