Support Legal Help for a Family in Need

Dear Friends and Family,

I find myself in a position where I need to ask for financial help from my support community. I have an urgent family situation, which many of you know about from talking to myself or my parents recently.

In short, I now require a lawyer to represent me to protect the interests of myself, and my two girls (to fight for the stability of our housing and basic needs, here in Maine). For those who don't know the story behind these circumstances, I will definitely contact you as I am able.

My lawyer's hourly fee is $300/hour, and even with my two jobs at Southern Maine Community College, I have no financial means to pay the full cost of a lawyer, so any amount you might feel inspired to donate will support me in avoiding the added burden of taking out a high interest loan to cover these legal costs.
