We’re a group of Gizz heads from OKC. We attended Field of Vision last year and had a life changing experience. The loving and supportive community was incredible and it truly felt like a safe space. This was what we had in mind when returning in 2026, and boy did the cops make sure that didn’t happen again. End of night two, our group collectively lived a nightmare when armed officers raided our camp while we were sitting around. They harassed and searched our friend and eventually he was arrested. They took him in and he didn’t even have shoes on. The next few hours were us trying to comfort his wife and figure out how to get him back. We know many others had the same experience at FoV this year and it breaks my heart because this is the total opposite of what the band stands for. This was a gross over reach on the part of the police and it shouldn’t have happened. If you are part of the weirdo swarm or just hate the fascism in this country, please consider donating.
