*Update*

Let me start off by stating that we are forever in your debts for your support. With something like this, the court process is long and expensive. Still reviewing discovery files, et. al., that comes with what we hope is a fair trial for both defendants. While court has been moved around a lot as the attorneys review the alleged evidence that the prosecutors have; it will more than likely be pushed later than December contrary to what I last stated the court date was moved to.

While I wish I could share some of the defendants thoughts and comments, I am not able to. I'm also not able to share very much information about the case at this time that already isn't public. But again, we thank you ALL for your support through this lengthy court process and hope the outcome is justified and maybe even be a precedent for future cases where people are trying to be good Samaritans, allegedly. I've received plenty of death threats and ILL will comments for starting this page, so I refrained from being active these past two of months. I'm remembering that we can't let intimidation play a factor ESPECIALLY during these times. That's what this administrations tactic is. The best thing about this government is that we can overthrow it every four years, or balance it out during the midterms in between. So, please vote!

My close family member and their ex-coworker, Jennifer Joma & Lauren Morrow, have recently been detained by ICE agents in Logan, UT; taken to the ICE detention center in West Valley City, UT and then transferred to the Salt Lake City, UT county jail. They are now facing federal charges for allegedly helping an immigrant evade ICE agents at a courtroom. This unexpected situation has brought immense stress and uncertainty to our family, as we navigate the complex legal system and try to ensure their rights are protected. Their alleged actions, if true, could have been motivated by nothing more than compassion and a desire to help someone in need, and now they are facing serious consequences for allegedly trying to do the right thing. This is all allegedly.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to cover legal fees and related expenses, including attorney costs, court fees to help them through this difficult process. Having proper legal representation is crucial, and your support will make a real difference in their ability to defend themselves under this administration's agenda. ICE and DHS are well funded with this administration and will look to make anyone allegedly helping someone in need be an example. We are committed to standing by them and making sure they have every resource available to fight these charges.

We believe in the power of community and kindness, and we are reaching out for help during this challenging time. Two good Samaritans are now facing charges for allegedly helping someone, and we are grateful for any support you can offer. Your generosity and compassion will give us hope and strength as we work toward a fair outcome. Thank you for standing with us.
