In order to claim any of my father's estate for my niece and I, I need to hire a lawyer. I do not have all of the funds for this and it is going to cost about 6k. I want to make sure that my father's wishes are respected and that my niece and I will be taken care of. Especially since my niece will be starting college soon. This is the only way I know how to do this is by hiring an attorney. I spoke with them today and they gave me this price. I hate begging, but here I am, left with no other choice. His wife and family have not said a single word to me regarding his estate and I would feel better having an attorney present when we do discuss this. I will be forever grateful to anyone who can help us reach this goal as soon as possible.
