I'm eMily. I'm an activist located in New Castle, PA. I use my platform, education, and experience to inform and engage folks on local history and events, as well as national and global topics. My advocacy started in childhood and has continued throughout my life.

I have been protesting on the streets, (mostly, but not always, in New Castle) for 180 consecutive days as of 2/25, covering numerous topics, but connected by the idea that life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all are NOT in alignment with making decisions based on what puts more money in the pockets of folks already so rich with more than they can spend AND that it is our duty to stand up for folks with less agency, including children.

In October 2025, I was arrested in downtown New Castle while protesting. This followed a March arrest by the same officer. In the latter, I was assigned a public defender, since withdrawn, who is closely related to a top city official.

I must hire a private attorney, in part for the nature of my work. I must crowd source for legal expenses. Current need necessitates a goal of $7.5k. Any contributions to this amount are super awesome and appreciated immensely.
