Support Legal Defense for Fargo Protesters

On May 18th 2025, my wife Wendy Hoff and I were peacefully demonstrating on a footbridge over I-94 in Fargo, ND, and displaying a sign that reads "8647." This simply means "Remove Trump," or "Get Rid Of Trump." Preferably in an unceremonious fashion, as in a bar setting.

Three North Dakota State Patrols, led by a Sargent, suddenly descended upon the two of us and began peppering us with questions. We insisted that the signage displayed a peaceful message. They began to play word games and claimed that my hands were "attaching" our American Flag to the fence. The wind holds it quite nicely without any fasteners along with the help of it's pole, which my wife holds. I was also holding it against the fence with my hand. Long story short, and there is video that captures the audio, (my wife secretly recorded the incident, hiding her phone behind the flag) they threatened to report our activities to the US Secret Service, which they did.

We told them that they were "Shitty Americans," and that we would continue to demonstrate in spite of their threats.

My dad was a combat wounded WWII veteran who had invaded the Philippines with General Douglas MacArthur.

This right now is the fight of OUR lives, of our generation. Now OUR security is being threatened by this fascist dictator, and we must be brave.

My wife Wendy and I will continue to demonstrate and utilize our freedom of speech and pursue our happiness, with our 8647 sign on the I-94 footbridge in Fargo REGARDLESS of the intimidation of Republican Governor Armstrong, The North Dakota State Patrol and the Secret Service, which is now officially investigating my wife and I.

FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS BEING THREATENED! With your help we will continue to consult with attorneys and continue to demonstrate on the footbridge over I-94 in Fargo with our 8647 message. After all....we can't back down now.
