When a friend is in trouble, you think, how can I help?

A wonderful member of our community is in need of funds to pay a lawyer for a situation she did not cause. She is a survivor of domestic violence and she is working hard to fight for herself and her child. She needs to pay a lawyer a retainer, $8,500, to protect her family. Can you chip in? Every little bit helps. If you can't donate funds, can you share this Go-Fund-Me with others?

"I fled a marriage with DV and SA like one flees a natural disaster, I left with nothing and have been fighting for myself and my young daughter's safety for a year and half, while re building our life as far away from our abuser as we could get. Despite the terrible pain I experienced I'm proud to be a survivor and that I have given my daughter a chance to know what a safe home feels like. I deeply appreciate any support!
