My name is Dorene and I am raising funds for friends who are providing bilingual legal presentations in apartment buildings in Washington, DC in the evenings to help migrants terrorized by the ICE agents in their neighborhoods to understand their legal rights, prepare their families for deportation and/or detention, and understand their individual legal cases. Money raised will help to hire dedicated staff for this project and to expand the number of apartment buildings they can cover each week. The demand is high and people are afraid to leave their homes.
