The Afghan family of five I have been working with since 2021 needs help. Their green card applications have been stalled since late 2022, and shifting policies have left them with almost no protection against deportation.

The family's father served alongside the US military in Kabul for 12 years. His work on behalf of our country made staying in his an impossibility. Even though the family was among the few evacuated in August 2021, they now have almost no protection against deportation. He now works nights as a custodian in his kids' school district. We need to hire an attorney to submit an asylum application for the family and secure their future in the US.
