Hi, my name is Lee and I am creating this fundraiser to help cover costs of my upcoming

Even before knowing I was trans, top surgery was something I have always known I needed. One of my most prominent memories from my childhood relating to my transness was wishing on a shooting star that I would never develop a chest. At the time, I had no concept of how deeply that feeling I had would affect me for the rest of my life, but now I'm finally so close to fulfilling that wish I made.

I'm sure many of you seeing this know me as my drag king persona, Goofy Littleguy. As Goofy, I've participated in a number of gender affirming care related fundraiser shows and that is something that has always been very important to me as a community member in Philadelphia. Most notably, I hosted a fundraiser show for my partner back in January, but now it's my turn. If you've met me, you know I care very deeply for drag and the people in our scene, and I've been so lucky to receive so much love and support right back. I'm now humbly asking for support in covering the cost of this surgery so I can fully flourish in the body I'm meant to be in. Any support is important to me, whether you have the ability to donate or not, even just sharing the post can be so helpful to boost it to a larger audience.

We are fundraising for the cost of the surgery, related costs like supplies, medications, and travel fees, as well as living expenses (such as rent, utilities, groceries, etc.) while I'm unable to work during recovery. My main source of income is drag and art related gigs which I will not be able to return to right away.

My surgery is scheduled for November 3rd, which while it's exciting to have be coming up so soon, it has given me very little time to prepare, especially financially.
