Leena Peaua is a close personal friend who has always dedicated her life to helping others, especially children with autism as an Applied Behavior Analyst. She also taught at an elementary school in Lahaina, and at Camp Third. Recently, Leena faced a serious heart-related medical condition that has turned her world upside down. This unexpected health crisis has left her unable to work, and she is now struggling to cover her rent and mounting medical bills. The stress of not knowing how she will make ends meet has added to the emotional and physical challenges she is already facing.
In the recent past, Leena narrowly escaped the tragic Lahaina fires with her life, leaving behind her home and belongings, and then learning her entire community and place of work had vanished overnight. It's been a struggle on Maui since those fires to find steady work and rebuild from scratch, but she was on her way to making that happen until this latest issue.
Leena has always been the first to offer support and kindness to those around her, and now she needs our help. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward her rent, essential medical treatments, and daily living expenses while she focuses on her recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help ease her burden and give her the stability she needs during this difficult time.
You can make a difference in Leena's life by helping her get through these tough physical and emotional times. Your support will not only help her recover but also allow her to return to the work she loves—helping autistic children thrive. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of Leena's support system.
