Hi y'all, Markie and Leela here. Most of you guys know Leela, her and I are a set pair.

If you don't know her, leela was born mostly blind, missing her right eye and most vision in her left. She is the sweetest dog ever.

She will be turning 7 at the beginning of 2026, I got her when she was 8 weeks old. If you can believe it she was even cuter as a puppy. We go everywhere and do everything together, especially in sobriety she has really become my support doggo. From daily walks, to being the best dog sitting (mostly) quiet in my AA meetings so I can get better for both of us <3

Last month she all of a sudden got an injury on her paw so I took her to the vet. A couple days later I noticed a small red and angry bump on her chest. The vet said to watch it and hope it's a pimple. It's not a pimple. It didn't go away and I barely could afford getting that tested. It came back as a mast cell tumor.

It's going to cost over $2500 to remove it. It has to be removed or it could spread, they have to test it to determine the tumor grade and make sure the rest of it isn't malignant, because they have a tendency to do that if it hasn't already started to spread.

I don't even have this much to my name. After being forced to quit my unsafe job I have been on unemployment and do not even make enough to keep living where I have the last 3 years. I'm running out of stuff to sell, over 70% of my stuff is gone.

I need help, if anyone is able to contribute even a little, it's more than I have and 100% is going to the vet bills. The two treatment plans they gave me total 2,557.28. Gofundme takes a cut, so I am raising the total to 3k. Anything extra will go to aftercare for Leela

EDIT: I derped and did not not mention, the quote they gave me is only good for a month until 1/6/26!! GAH!

Leela is my everything, I don't want to do this without her.
